TOM I'ANSON BRASS TEACHER

Whether you are brand new to brass, bringing back an old hobby or broadening your brass vocabulary. I can help you to achieve your musical learning goals. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I have extensive knowledge of teaching for all ages and abilities. Taking students from their first notes as a beginner, through to their grade 8 exams and beyond! 

I currently teach the following instruments:

• Trombone

• Trumpet

• Cornet

• Tuba

• Euphonium

• Baritone

• Tenor Horn

Private lessons are available in person or over video call on Zoom, FaceTime or Skype. These cost £15 per half hour or £30 for an hour.  Ensemble lessons are also available - Please e-mail for further details on pricing for this.

Classes are available in the following genres: Jazz, Classical and Pop. Exam preparation is focused on the ABRSM Syllabus.

As a performer I have a great understanding of the realities and expectations of being a successful musician today, so can support students with both technical ability and performance skills development.
